The Patented Backstroke Start Device from Colorado Time Systems helps to eliminate slips at the start of a race. The versatile design allows the device to be attached to the starting block with either straps or anchors. Once in place, pull down the wedge to the desired location on the pool wall and lock into place. The red markers show correct placement to comply with FINA rules. The red color to increase visibility under water. Once the swimmer has left the wall, the device will automatically retracts up and out of the water until the next swimmer sets up.
The non-slip wedge measures (65cm x 8cm) and features a 10° angle for secure foot placement at the race start.
